DHDT Unit of Paradip Refinery inaugurated

PARADIP, OCT 14: In a step towards commissioning of the Rs 34,555 crore Paradip Refinery Project, its Diesel Hydrotreater (DHDT) Unit was inaugurated by Indian Oil Chairman B Ashok here on Tuesday.
The DHDT Unit is designed to process 5.2 MMTPA of blended Gas Oil to produce ultra low sulphur finished diesel having 10 ppmw sulphur (max).
During his visit to the IOCL Chairman interacted with Director (Refineries) Sanjiv Singh, Executive Director, Paradip Refinery Ramjee Ram, ED (Tech) GS Singh and other senior officials of the Company and expressed satisfaction over commissioning of various units of the project.
With highest overall Nelson Complexity Factor, Paradip Refinery is designed to produce clean and environmental friendly next generation Euro-IV and Euro-V fuels.
