Bhubaneswar: May 05: Dinesh Karthik continues to impress with the bat and behind the stumps at the Indian Premier League.
Experienced wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik once again proved his worth during the final overs of an innings with an unbeaten 26 from just 17 balls for Royal Challengers Bangalore in their narrow victory over Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday.

Karthik now has 244 runs in the Indian Premier League this year and his strike rate of 189.14 is the fourth-best of any player in the tournament.
Dinesh Karthik has only been dismissed on four occasions.
Will that prove enough for Karthik to be considered for an India recall?
Like Kartik, some other players’ performance may also boost their chance to be on the Indian Team for T20 World Cup.
Uncapped speedster Umran Malik is turning plenty of heads with 15 wickets from nine matches at Sunrisers Hyderabad and many are tipping the 22-year-old could be a part of India’s squad for the T20 World Cup later this year.
He isn’t the only bowler among the leading wicket-takers at the tournament, with leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal currently leading all comers with 19 scalps for Rajasthan Royals.
Left-arm Kuldeep Yadav(17 wickets for Delhi Capitals at 15.82) and experienced seamer T Natarajan (17 wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad at 17.82) have also impressed with the ball.
