Sambalpur, Jan 27: Today the district police arrested seven members accused for forming an inter-state dacoit gang when they attempted to a branch office of Manappuram Finance here. The cops have also seized five pistols from their possession. It’s stated that out of the seven arrested, four belonged to UP, two are from Bihar and one from Punjab. The cops also informed that one of the gang members is being treated at the Burla hospital after he sustained injuries during a police firing at Haladipali in Bargarh on Jan 18.
