Bhubaneswar, July 11:To make trips more smooth and hassle free, E-ticketing facility is likely to be introduced at five protected monuments in Odisha from Sunday. The decision has been taken by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
The Sun Temple of Konark, Khandagiri and Udaygiri caves, Rajarani Temle in Bhubaneswar and Buddhist sites at Ratnagiri and Lalitgiri will come under this facility.
Official informed that e-tickets kiosks will be set up at the tourists spot for further simplification.
During lean season the number of footfall has recorded 3000 to 4000 tourists and in peak season around 6000 tourists in Konark temple
E-ticketing facilities will be available in the museum of Konark and Ratnagiri.
