Sundargarh, May 26: In another shocking incident, a seven-year-old was crushed to death on spot by an elephant in Dhobadanda village at Sundargarh district.
Notably, the child accompanied with her mother and brother were going to the nearby forest, when the elephant attacked them, crushing the seven-year-old to death, on the spot, and leaving the mother and brother in critical conditions. The locals after spotting the bodies, rushed the mother and brother to the local hospital. There condition is yet unstable and critical, said sources.
While further reports are awaited.
Similarly, a woman after being attacked by an elephant at Sugara village in Dhenkanal district was admitted to the SCB medical college and hospital at Cuttack in critical conditions.
