Energy Secretary boosts the Newly Recruited Power Engineers

Bhubaneswar,  08.06.2017:    The  closing  day  of  21  days  long  induction  program  for the 117 newly recruited employees of Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited was observed  at  its  Chandaka  Training  Centre  where   Sri  Hemant  Sharma  ,IAS  ,  Secretary Energy , Department gracing the occasion as chief guest boosted the  confidence of the  new electrical engineers through his motivational words. “Positive attitude and self-discipline is highly essential for the employees particularly working in Power sector. We have to be alert 24 hour to serve the state with quality power for 24X7.” said Sri Sharma in his address to the new engineers. He also insisted the engineers to be more hardworking and enthusiastic in their first five years of career with a good learning attitude.  Sri Rajendra Senapati , Director (HRD) advised the employees to  adhere the rules and regulations of the corporation. Similarly  ,  Sri  Bibhu  Prasad  Mahapatra  ,  Director  (Finance)  ,  Sri  M.K  Das  ,  Director (Commercial)  ,  Sri  Ajay  Prasad  Panda  ,  GM  (HRD)  were  also  present  on  the  occasion  to motivate the new employees who are likely to be posted at various field units in the state. The  program  was  well  coordinated  by  Sri  Chandra  Sekhar  Pradhan  ,  DGM  (HRD)  of  PTC training centre.
