Bhubaneswar, Jan 12: The Odisha government is all set to introduce new rules in line with the format followed by IITs and NITs for the counselling process in engineering admissions. The new guidelines will be implemented for admissions into the current academic session. This was informed by Chief Secretary, Aditya Padhi yesterday to the media. As per the new guidelines, the final list of admission will be published after the conclusion of the third phase of counselling. Students can switch streams and colleges in the meantime. Students will get one chance if there are vacant seats after the first two phases of counselling.

Initially, students will have to deposit Rs 25,000 as part admission fee with the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authorities instead of the concerned colleges.
