Bhubaneswar: An important information has been shared which is valuable especially for the visitors who are visiting the famous Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP) in Bhubaneswar of Odisha. The entry and exit point to the park (NZP) has been changed. This is a temporary adjustment which has been taken up due to some construction work in Nandankanan.
As per reports, due to the ongoing development work of Nandankanan, changes have been made in the entry and exit for tourists. Of course, the tourists are facing a lot of problem for this.
Earlier, tourists used to enter Nandankanan through the main gate and buy tickets at the ticket counter. They used to come in one route and see the animals properly and return on the same route. Tourists did not have to face any problem for tickets for battery-operated vehicles, safaris, etc.
However, due to the work that is going on to build a drain near the Kanjia Lake in Nandankanan, the entry and exit points have changed. Tourists are facing problems for this.
Kanjia Lake rises during rainy days and enters Nandankanan. Hence, the Nandankanan authorities have planned to complete all these construction works ahead of the next monsoon.
As a result, as an alternative, this temporary entry and exit route has been made on the exit road built on the side of the multi-storey parking lot of Nandankanan.
