Bhubaneswar, May 3: Today, the Crime Branch Special DG BK Sharma tweeted on his profile that the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Odisha Crime Branch has taken Swati Rekha into custody for cheating ICICI Bank branch here by using fake documents for getting a loan of Rs 1.24 crore.
Bijay Kumar Sharma tweeted, “EOW of #OdishaCrimeBranch arrested accused Swati Rekha concerned in a case of cheating of ICICI bank Bhubaneswar branch.
FIR filed by ICICI bank alleged that the accused had cheated the bank of Rs 1.24 crores which was taken as a loan by using forged documents.”
An FIR was filed by the ICICI Bank at the Crime Branch alleging that Swati took Rs 1.24 crore loan from its Bhubaneswar branch after submitting forged documents thus defrauding it.
