Balasore, Mar 25: Today outraged teachers stopped the evaluation of HSC exam papers at Satyananda High School in Soro here. The teachers have staged a dharna ahead of the school laying down their six-point charter of demands which includes increase in allowance for paper evaluation even. Till the demands are met, no paper will be evaluated. It’s stated that currently the teachers are being paid Rs 5/paper and this has been the scenario from the last 15 years. All the 169 teachers sat on dharna after they noticed that this was only option left when the allowance was not hiked even after repeated demands.
