Bhubaneswar, July 22; The Kandhamal cross firing incident which took five tribal life of Gandamunda, probing by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), would submit the evidence collected form the spot in court today.
The evidences includes, 15 guns seized from SOG officials and empty cartridges, the clothes of the deceased. These evidences would submit before the Baliguda Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court. After that it would send to the forensic science laboratory for test, sources informed.
Notably, five tribal, including two women and one child were killed during the cross firing between the Special Operation Group (SOG) and Maoists at Malapanga forest on July 8. To probe the incident, Chief Minister Naveen Patniak directed a Special Investigation team of the State Human Rights Protection cell (HRPC).
