Fake currency notes scam: 3 persons arrested by District Police of Bargarh in Odisha

Bargarh, Mar 15: Three persons were held by the district police for attempting to deposit a total of nine fake currency notes having a denomination Rs 2,000 at a bank located under Bargarh Town police limits. Investigation has been launched by the cops to o find out more involvement of more people in this fake currency scam after arresting Manoj Sahu, Sudam Danasana and Aditya Bagh. While Manoj attempted to deposit to the fake notes at the State Bank of India’s counter in Bargarh town, the bank staff informed the local police suspecting the notes to be counterfeit. Raj Kishore Mishra, IIC, Bargarh Town police station, informed the media that a complaint has been filed by the branch manager of the State Bank of India, Bargarh branch base on which a case has been registered.
