Farmers' Union stages Rail-Roko in parts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: February 18: Different farmers’ organisation staged protest in different parts of Odisha. As part of the four-hour-all-India Protest, farmers’ blocked the Railway tracks for few hours in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore and other places of the State.

Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) and other farmers’ organisations led protest. Farmers’ under their leaders march to railway stations and railway tracks and sat on tracks. They are seen with Posters, Banners, Flags to express their demands. Besides, they raised  slogans demanding the repeal of the 3 new farm laws as they attempted to storm rail premises or railway tracks.
Farmers protesting against the Centre’s new farm laws have gathered near rail tracks in parts of Punjab, Haryana Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka for the ”rail roko” protest.
