Sambalpur, Apr 5: In connection to the fire break in Gol Bazaar area here, on direction of the Sambalpur district Collector a special team has started investigation into the cause of the fire in the area that destroyed thousands of properties. The probe team is to find out that whether the fire occurred due to short circuit or it was planned by someone. On the other hand, the district administration has already made an estimation as what amount of properties were destroyed in the mishap. Sambalpur Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Bimalendu Ray informed the media that the properties that have been destroyed in the mishap were worth Rs 50 lakh and they were 23 shops and 190 Pindis.
