Nayagarh, Dec 5: A massive fire breakout caused burning up of about 27 houses into ashes late night on Saturday at Nayagarh.
A sea of flames, suspected of an electric short circuit caused huge amount of damage to livestock and property. Cattles and goods worth lakhs were simply ransacked in the fire at Jakalapalli Village in the district.
Fire Brigades immediately rushed to the spot and stopped the fire, but the damage was already done.
