Bhadrak, Apr 29: In a tragic fire incident at the Dhamnagar Market last night, four houses of a family were gutted to fire. Following to this, tension aroused in the area and soon the locals were seen protesting.
With this, the District Administration has clamped Sec 144 of CrPC at Dhamnagar from 10 am today and is likely to last for 24 hours at least. Five platoons of police personnels have also been deployed at the spot to maintain law and order.
In the meanwhile, the DA, SP, local MLA and Collector are trying to calm down the situation in the area.
