K Rosaiah Passes Away

Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh K Rosaiah is no more. As sources said, he was rushed to a Hospital by family Members as his pulse rate dropped. But, he did not respond to the treatment and was declared dead.

Rosaiah became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh after the demise of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy in a helicopter crash. He was there as CM from September 3, 2009 to November 24, 2010.

He had a two-month stint as the Governor for Karnataka and later he served as Tamil Nadu governor, from 2011 to 2016.

Rosaiah began his legislative journey as a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council in 1968.

K. Rosaiah was also a member of the Lok Sabha apart from being a member of Andhra Pradesh Assembly and the Legislative Council.

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed grief over the demise of Rosaiah, and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Saturday condoled the death of former Governor K. Rosaiah.
