Bhubaneswar, May 3: Yesterday at the Infocity PS here, a car owner filed a complaint that a man disguised as a customer on the pretext of test driving a car before buying it from the owner, allegedly fled with the vehicle. The owner had put up an advertisement in a buying and selling site named Quickr to sell his car following which the the deal was being worked out. The owner further stated that the fraud man had asked for a test drive along with the owner till the Nandanakanan area. Later on, the man requested for another lone test drive to which the owner agreed. But the fraudster never returned. Rather the vehicle which the man had used to reach the spot has been taken into the custody of the police and the driver has been detained.
