Free Mega Health Camp organised by Adani Foundation

Dhamra, Jan 24: In continuation of its human endeavour and to bring about health awareness to villagers of in the region, a Mega Health camp was organised by Adani Foundation in association with Maa Kali Market Committee at Koithakhola market ground near panchayat office. Different tests were conducted free of cost and expert doctors have given medical advises to patients. The purpose of the camp was to stay healthy and fit, in a preventive mode approaches.

Special team of Specialist Doctors facilitated by Rotary E-club and Doctors of Adani Dhamra Port, paramedics and volunteers conducted free consultations and check-ups in Internal medicine, Gynaecology, Pediatrics to patients who attended the Mega Health Camp at Koithakhola.  In addition to this, free Blood Pressure Check-up, Blood Sugar Check-up, BMI Check-up was carried out on patients to create awareness about diabetes and hypertension which is one of the most worrisome health issue prevalent in this region. The patients were also offered free medicines and RUTF distributed to SAM children (as part of our SuPoshan programme). Patients can avail the Follow-up check-ups for free through our mobile health check-up vehicle.

As Many as 500 children, women, old age and waste workers checked their health status to Dr. Manmohan Mohanty, Dr. Kajal Rakshit, Dr. C. C. Nayak, Dr. Debas Chandra Behera and Dr. Madhumita Aich. They also advised to people to use toilet, safe drinking water, nutritious food and also to maintain personal hygienic for the development of Health. On behalf of Adani, CSR head Prabhat Kumar Mishra extend his gratitude to doctors, members of the Maa Kali Market committee, volunteers, Medical & CSR team of Adani for their support for making the camp most successful.
