CCTV Cameras Reveals Ashish Mishra’s Presence In Vehicle
In another development in Uttar Pradesh, a SIT has got big evidence in the hyped Lakhimpur violence case. The police had seized the DVRs of two shops from near the spot. According to sources, the accused, son of Union Minister of State for Home, Ajay Mishra, Ashish, was at the spot when the violence took place in Tikunia. At that time he was wearing a white shirt. He is also visible in the CCTV found by the SIT. The police arrested Ashish on the basis of this footage.
On the basis of the recovered footages, it was alleged that, Ashish, who was wearing a white shirt on the day of the incident, was driving the Thar. However, after the violence, it was claimed that the jeep driver Hari Om was driving and was wearing a white shirt. He was thrashed to death by farmers, however, Hari Om was found to be wearing a yellow shirt, during the incident.
The police have also seized a licensed rifle and pistol, which have been sent for forensic examination. Both these weapons are in the name of Ashish Mishra. A mobile has also been seized. The hearing on the police custody of Ashish Mishra has started today (Monday). Police has sought 14 days remand. Late on October 9, Ashish was sent to 14-day judicial custody after his arrest.
On the other hand, Ashish’s Thar is also not insured since July 13, 2018. Due to which action will also be taken under the Motor Vehicle Act. Due to this, on the claim of the deceased, he will have to pay heavy compensation, if the court asks for compensation to the aggrieved party.
Notably, on the day of the incident, farmers were protesting in large numbers in Tikuniya village, near the border of Nepal, about 70 km from Lakhimpur district headquarters, on October 3 at around 3 pm, when suddenly three vehicles (Thar Jeep, Fortuner and Scorpio) went trampling the farmers. . Angry farmers created a ruckus over the incident. A total of 8 people died in this violence. This includes 4 farmers, a local journalist, two BJP workers.
The incident happened before the arrival of UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya at Tikunia. After the incident, the Deputy Chief Minister had canceled his visit. It is alleged that the car of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra crushed the protesting farmers. After this the politics in UP has intensified.
