The institute becomes a trend setter in training for Administrative Officers.
Bhubaneswar: July 21: Gopabandhu Academy of Administration (GAA) , Odisha has been conferred with the prestigious international ISO certification. The certificate was presented to Chief Secretary Sri Aditya Prasad Padhi in secretariat conference hall today by Director General of the Institution.
Presenting the certificate DG, GAA Sri Sangram Mishra said that the Institution is the pioneer in getting latest version of the ISO certification i.e. ISO-9001:2015. The Institute was judged by Joint Accreditation Services of Australia and New Zealand on the basis of its excellence in training, management, library, ambiance of the academy, work environment in the institution, establishment management accommodation, quality food and services to the trainees etc.
In another development, the Director of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, Smt Upma Chawdhry has highly appreciated training calendar and activities of GAA in imparting training to IAS Probationers. In a letter to all the States Smt Chawdhry stated that the well-structured schedule of the district level training as devised by GAA could go a long way in mentoring officer trainees in the administrative structure of their respective cadres.
Chief Secretary Sri Padhi while congratulating the DG, Officers and Staff of GAA gave them a clarion call to work committedly with team spirit for transforming the Academy to a World Class Training Institute in coming years.
