Govt blacklisted 58 Pharmaceutical companies since 2005

Bhubaneswar: ‘April 29: 58 Pharmaceutical companies were blacklisted since 2005’, Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak replied to a written question of BJP legislator Dillip Ray. Nayak said, 133 types of medicines are spplied to the Government-run hospitals by 168 pharmaceutical companies were found ‘not of standard quality.’ Before the purchase of medicines, government used to conduct the sample test by an accredited laboratory.
