Kandhamal, Dec 1: On Thursday, while raiding the Maoist camp, exchange of fire occurred between Maoist and Special Operation Group (SOG) personnel at Lankagarh village, Kandhamal.
As per sources, the exchange of fire banged for more than an hour. Sources also informed the camps where the SOG personnel conducted raids, had around 25 Maoist.
After the gun battle, old currency notes with explosives and ammunitions were seized by the SOG personnel.
