Bhubaneswar: June 4: Physically – challenged Odissi dancer and Guru, Nrityananda das performed an extra-ordinary dance item ‘Guru Dakshina’ to honour his Guru, who had inspired him to continue dance after he lost his right leg in a tragic accident in the year 2000. Despite of this severe loss he continues to spread magic on the stage with his immense talent, vigour and will power.
Nrityananda Das has been a classic example of dance form in its true sense. Under the training of his Guru Bimbadhar Das he underwent extreme hardships which ultimately gave him the fruits of his hard work.
