Athagarh: The shrine of baba Dhabaleswar of Athgarh in Cuttack district has become lively with devotees thronging to witness the ‘Harihara besa’ of baba Dhabaleswar today.
The rituals for the ‘Harihara besa’ started as early as 3:00 am in the moment Trayadashi ended and Chaturdashi begun. Thereafter, Gajabhoga and Tarana was offered to the Lord and then distributed among the devotees observing the ‘Bada Osa’ to break their fasts. Yesterday was Trayadashi and today marks Chaturdashi of Kartik month. Police force has been deployed for the peaceful darshan.
