Cuttack, Dec 9: The Orissa High Court on Friday granted bail to Tapan Saha, the main accused in the R. Vineel Krishna abduction case.
Saha, an ex-collector along with Divya, a tribal woman were sentenced for life imprisonment by a local court on May 24th in the accusation for kidnapping Vineel Krishna, 5 years back.
In 2011, a Maoist tribal woman Divya along with Saha, the then village level government worker allegedly conspired and kidnapped Krishna, the then collector of Malkangiri. The Additional District judge of Malkangiri on this had found Saha guilty.
