Health camps to be organized at four villages in Niyamgiri area

Rayagada, Sept 2: In Niyamgiri area where 10 people died due to Cholera till now, the district administration has decided to set up health camps at four villages in the area after a review meeting at the Kesingpur Community Health Centre (CHC) yesterday.

A decision to set up medical camps for one month at Gumma, Parsali, Buduni, Tebapada villages, within two days has been taken by the administrative team in the meeting at the CHC. Doctors, paramedic teams and medial suppliers would be posted at the camps, informed Rayagada Collector Guha Punam Tapash Kumar to the media persons. She further said that due to illiteracy in the area, a long term action plan has to be worked out to find a solution for the matter.

Also, boiled water will be provided by setting up a free kitchen at the four villages. The villagers are suffering from diarrohea and dysentery as they are eating beef after drying it, the collector added
