Bhubaneswar, June 2: Leading to a windy calamity in the after hours of yesterday, apart from all odds, the capital city felt quite a big relief from the scorching sun.
However, the heavy winds and rainfall has left many trees in the capital uprooted, while commuters were also seen facing a lot of problems.
Tourists at Nandankanan also faced quite some burning difficulties after the Nor’wester came with a disaster breaking about 100 trees in the campus with a wind speed said to be about 80-90kmph.
On the other hand, strong wind also caused parked two-wheelers to fall while in some places, parked auto rickshaws and mini cars were seen being moved by the wind.
