The play based on the fact that trying to control things in a relationship does not guarantee love . It rather validates the lack of trust and sheer reluctance to accept the truth . The essence of this assumption is implicit in the play Chatushkon. The play is a powerful story of ambition and betrayal set in the modern world . Businessman Shekhar is married to Neena. Shekhar is an alcoholic ,who is extremely jealous and suspicious of his wife because of her beauty and past. As a result, he flirts with other woman and doesn’t treat Neena well. .Fed up from her husband’s awful behaviour, Neene comes close to Saumay, A young man and a budding film maker who works for Shekhar. However this triangle is not where the story ends.
