Bhubaneswar, Oct 17: A German hunter paid $60,000 for killing one of the biggest elephants in Zimbabwe. This is the second incident after shooting of the big lion Cecil.
Wildlife groups have cried foul over the killing.
The hunter paid $60,000 to shoot the male elephant, which was at least 50 years old, on private land near the border with South Africa on Thursday.
According to reports, the elephant had two huge tusks that touched the ground when the animal was standing. The tusks weighed 54 kilos.
