Increase in day temperature in Odisha; MeT office

Bhubaneswar, Apr 6: Rainfall has occurred at one or two places over Odisha. Chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms are Jhorigam (dist Nawarangpur) 1, Kosagumda (dist Nawarangpur) 1, Sorada (dist Ganjam) 1, Pottangi (dist Koraput) 1, Koraput (dist Koraput) 1. Maximum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were above normal over Interior Odisha and below normal over coastal Odisha.

Having partly cloudy sky, Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 36 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively on Friday.

The relative humidity will be 90 percent at its maximum and 59 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. On Friday, rainfall along with thunder squall and hail storms to occur at one or two places of Odisha with wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph. On Saturday, Sunday , Monday and Tuesday rainfall in one or two places in Odisha. As per the weather forecasters, there will be an increase in day temperature over Interior Odisha from Apr 11.

For the farmers, rainfall at one or two places of Odisha with thundersquall and hailstorms. Wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph.

The highest maximum temperature of 43.0C was recorded at Jharsuguda and the lowest minimum temperature of 18.00C was recorded at Sundergarh in the plains of Odisha.
