Bhubaneswar: July 26: India recorded 48,661 new COVID-19 cases and 705 fatalities in last 24 hours. With this, total number of cases increased to 13,85,522 and the 32,063 people succumbed to the disease so far.
As per the Health Ministry’s dash board, 4,67,882 patients are active & under going treatment and 8,85, 576 patients have recovered from the disease. In last 24 hours, 36,145 patients came out of disease. With this, recovery rate has further improved to 63.92 per cent.
On 25th July, 4,42,263 samples have been tested.
Among States, total cumulative cases in Maharashtra rose to 3,66,368, followed by Tamilnadu (2,06,737), Delhi (1,29,531), Karnataka (90,942), Andhra Pradesh (88,671), Uttar Pradesh (63,742), West Bengal (56,377), Gujarat (54,626) and Telengana (52,466).
