Bhubaneswar: September 28: India registered 82,170 new Corona Positive Cases and 1,039 deaths in last 24 hours. India’s COVID tally crossed 60 lakh-mark with a total of 60,74,702 cases.
With 1,039 deaths, total death toll in the Country increased to 95,542.
In last 24 hours, 74,893 patients have recovered from the disease and total recoveries in the Country crossed 50 lakh-mark (50,16,520).
Recovery rate stands at 82.58 per cent and also, fatality rate has come down to 1.57 per cent.
As per ICMR data, 7,09,394 sample tests were conducted across the country in a single day on Sunday, taking the total number of samples tested so far to 7,19,67,230.
