Bhubaneswar: July 15: India registered 32,695 cases in a single day. This is the highest single-day count. With this, India’s total tally increased to 9,68,876.
As per Health Ministry’s data, 6,12,814 patients have recovered from the infection, which is almost twice the number of Active cases so far i.e. 3,31,146. The recovery rate has improved further to 63.24 per cent.
Also, the country has recorded 606 deaths in last 24 hours, pushing the death total to 24,915.
Maharashtra has recorded 7,975 cases, taking State’s total count to 2,75,640. Tamilnadu has also 1,51,820 cases so far, followed by Delhi, which is improving day by day. Delhi has 1,16,993 cases in total, including 3,487 deaths.
Karnataka reported 3,176 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the total tally to 47,253 in the state.
Besides, 5 more States have 25,000 plus caseloads. Gujarat has registered 44,552 cases, followed by UP (41,383), Telangana (39,342), Andhra Pradesh (35,451) and West Bengal (34,427).
