Bhubaneswar: Odia singing sensation Ananaya Nanda met Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday evening with her family members.
Ananya recently won the ‘Indian Idol Junior 2’ organized by Sony entertainment channel.
A jubilant Ananya told reporters, “I can’t believe I met Narendra Modi sir. I am in awe of him and his hospitality. In spite of his busy schedule he spent 20-30 mins with me. “He blessed me and advised me to continue with my Riyaaz.”
She said the Prime Minister told her to never give up on her dream and that she should keep working hard towards achieving the same.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Miniter Dharmendra Pradhan was present on the occasion.
