Leander Paes joins Trinamool Congress
Indian Tennis Player Leander Paes joined the Trinamool Congress in Goa in the presence of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Paes said that India is the largest democracy in the world and added that “there is a great vision that Didi has to make sure that it is a very successful nation that we have”
He said, Mamata Banerjee had backed his career in tennis. He and his father had approached her for support, when she was the country’s Sports Minister and he was a 14-year-old “.
