All 150 Indians Reported Kidnapped Are Safe & Returning To The Airport
Kabul: In another development, the Indians earlier said to have been kidnapped by the Taliban are now safe and are on their way to the International Airport at Afghanistan’s Kabul.
Group Contributing Editor of Network 18, and Journalist Aditya Raj Kaul has confirmed the news on his twitter handle saying, “Spoke to Coordinator of Indian Nationals in Kabul. He confirmed all 150 Indians are safe but yet not inside airport or handed over to US/NATO forces for evacuation. Confirmed harassment by some armed men who were speaking Pakistani Urdu. Have withheld his name and location.”

Earlier today, many media outlets from Kabul had reported the alleged kidnapping of 150 or more Indians by the Taliban from near the international airport in Afghanistan’s Kabul. However, the Taliban had dismissed the allegations to a member of the Afghan media that reported this story. No official statement by the government of India was also provided.
