India’s COVID tally crosses 43 lakh-mark; Total death toll increases to 73,890

Bhubaneswar: September 09: India reported 89,706 fresh COVID-19 Cases in last 24 hours and total tally crossed 43 lakh mark. Total cases in India increased to 43,70,128, as said by Health Ministry.

Also, Ministry’s data said, 1,115 people succumbed to the disease in last 24 hours, pushing the total death toll in the Country to 73,890.

Out of 43,70,128 cases registered so far, 33,98,844 patients have recovered from the disease and recovery rate in the Country improved further to 77.77 per cent.

In last 24 hours, 74,894 COVID-19 Patients got cured from the disease.

At present, 8,97,394 patients are active and undergoing treatment, which is in fact 20.53 per cent of total cases.

On 8th September, 11,54,549 samples have bee tested and With this, India has already tested 5,18,04,677 samples.

Among States, Maharashtra registered 9,43,772 cases so far, followed by Andhra Pradesh (5,17,094), Tamilnadu (4,74,940), Karnataka (4,12,190), Uttar Pradesh (2,78,473), Delhi (1,86,956) and West Bengal (1,86,956).
