Kaptipada, Oct 12: On the festive day of Vijayadashami on Tuesday, a group of about 500 strong women launched an attack on a country made liquor manufacturing unit at Podadiha under Kaptipada police limits in Mayurbhanj district as they alleged that the police did not pay any heed towards their earlier requests and remained inactive.
The irate women demolished the liquor manufacturing unit and also burnt several items of the unit as a token of protest.
