Jagdeep Dhankhar Admitted to AIIMS

New Delhi: Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar has been admitted to the AIIMS, New Delhi on Sunday, after he complained of an acute chest pain.

He is undergoing heart surgery, after a team of doctors reportedly diagnosed a minor blockade in his heart, said sources.

However, bulletin on his health condition is yet to be released by the VP’s Secretariat.

Dhankhar was rushed  to the cardiac department at AIIMS Delhi in the morning as he experienced a severe pain in his heart.

He is now under treatment in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr Rajiv Narang, Head of Department of Cardiology, AIIMS, accompanied by a panel of doctors.
