Bhubaneswar, Dec 29: Odisha Governor SC Jamir has stressed up on the importance of civic and safety consciousness in every individual for a better and safe world.
Addressing State level Youth Red Cross Study-cum-Training Camp at Prananath (Autonomous) College, Khordha near Bhubaneswar, Jamir stressed the need for developing vibrant Youth Red Cross units in all higher education institutions in the State and suggested government departments like Health and Family Welfare and Sports and Youth Affairs to involve youth red cross counselors and volunteers in their humanitarian development activities.
The Governor asked the volunteers to set high standard with their service.
