Rourkela, Apr 24: Alleging police action against its cadres, the People’s Liberation Front go India (PLFI) of Jharkhand had today called for a 12-hour dusk to dawn bandh in the state. Due to this, bus communication from Rourkela to Ranchi and other places in the state has been put on to halt, which in regards has led the commuters to suffers a lot.
Notably, the PLFI has alleged that the Jharkhand police has intentionally arrested some of its leaders and activists and has tortured them. Which in scenario has led to the bandh call in the state and halt of bus communication from Rourkela to Ranchi and other places in the state.
Following to this the security along the Odisha-Jharkhand border has been tightened, while combing operation has also been intensified, said sources.
