Bhubaneswar, Dec 14: Former Supreme Court Judge Justice Anang Kumar Patnaik has been selected for ‘Kalingaratna’ Samman 2015.
Puri Gajapati Maharaj Dibyasingha Dev would honour patnaik with the award on the occasion of 34th annual function of the Sarala Sahitya Sansad to be held on Dec 21.
Before his stint as Supreme Court Judge, Justice Patnaik had served as Judged in High Courts of Odisha and Assam and Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh High Court. Patnaik had taken many historic decisions as the Justice of the Supreme Court.
