Bhubaneswar, Dec 14: Meetings with party leaders and workers are going on for the last three to four days. Functionaries from the Mandal to State level Committees would be chosen on a consensus. The entire process would be completed by the first week of January, asserted Arun Singh BJP national secretary and Odisha-in-charge at a press conference here.

Similarly, the party would attack the BJD Government raising local issues massively.

He said there would be 997 Mandal-level organisations instead of present 491 in the State.

Singh also told, “Mandal committees would hold dharnas and protests at least for 12 times a year. District committees would hold mass agitations four times and there would be two State-level BJP public meetings each year, besides special meetings. The party would raise local issues like electricity, water, ration card distribution, health and education problems and corruptions in block levels. He claimed that the party membership has now touched 32 lakh in the State.
