KIIT Administration Issues Letter of Apology

Bhubaneswar: The KIIT administration has regretted the untoward incident that happened on February 16. Taking a disciplinary action, the KIIT administration has terminated two security guards in the death of Nepali student.

Expressing regret over the incident that happened on the ill-fated day, the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) administration have suspended two senior officials and one senior administrative official of KIIT International office. They will be suspended until enquiry is completed.

On the other hand, the Nepali students have returned to the campus. The authorities are trying their level best to bring back the students back to the campus. The two officials have also apologized for their behavior.

The KIIT authorities also opened a dedicated control room 24×7 at KIIT Campus 6 to facilitate the return of Nepali students to the KIIT campus. Additionally, a 24×7 helpline (+91 7847064550 & +91 7855029322) has been set up to provide support and guidance. We urge all Nepali students to reach out for any assistance. KIIT remains committed to their safety and well-being.
