KIIT Wins Prestigious CII Award For Best Sports Infra Of The Year In New Delhi

KIIT-DU has been conferred with the Best Sports Stadium/Arena of the Year Award at the 3rd CII Sports Business Awards 2025. The award recognises KIIT’s outstanding contribution to the development of world-class sports infrastructure and its continued commitment to promoting sports excellence in India.
The honour was presented during the grand awards evening that concluded the 10th CII Scorecard 2025, a full-day celebration of India’s sporting journey attended by Union Ministers, senior government officials, corporate leaders, and sports icons from across the country.
The award was presented acknowledging KIIT’s exemplary work and transformative impact on the Indian sports ecosystem. The award stands as a testament to the institute’s sustained efforts to nurture sporting talent and create benchmark facilities for athletes.
KIIT’s consistent excellence in sports has also been recognised through several prestigious national honours. The university was adjudged “Best University for Promotion of Sports” at the Sportstar Aces Awards in both 2022 and 2025.
It received the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar from the Government of India in 2022 for its outstanding contribution to sports development. KIIT was also honoured with the “Best Sports Facility” award at the CII Sports Business Awards 2023 and received the FICCI India Sports Award in 2022 for its significant contribution to the Indian sports ecosystem.
