Kandhamal, Jan 9: A minor girl was gang raped and later dumped at Baliguda here. According to the minor’s allegations, she had been abducted by two youths belonging to her own village in a car when she was returning from her neighbour’s house. After dumping the girl, the culprits fled. The nearby villagers rescue the girl in the morning.
Post the incident, the family members of the victim have lodged a police complaint, based on which the cops have arrested two youths and the car driver. Police have also seized the car used at the time of the rape by the miscreants.
