Bhubaneswar: May 07: With a view to clearing additional rush of passengers during Summer Season 2018, it has been decided to run Summer Special trains between Kolkata and Puri by creating additional berths. 03101 Kolkata-Puri Special train will leave Kolkata at 2355hrs on every Sunday between 13thMay to 24th June, 2018 and will arrive at Puri at 1000hrs on the next day. In the return direction, 03102 Puri-Kolkata Special train will leave Puri at 2330hrs on every Monday between 14th May to 25th June, 2018 and will arrive at Kolkata at 1020hrs.
This train has One AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tiers, Six Sleeper Classes, Six Second Class Seatings and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road between Kolkata and Puri from both the directions.
Apart from this, Special Trains are also plying towards different destinations from and through East Coast Railway jurisdiction during summer 2018. Keeping in view the feasibility and demand from the passengers, important regular trains are being augmented with additional coaches by creating additional berths.
