Jajpur, Mar 25: With the start of Kumbh Mela from today, hundreds of devotees early today took a holy dip at the Dasaswamedha ghat along the banks of river Baitarani here. After the ‘Alati’ which means waving of lamps happened last evening at the Dasaswamedha ghat, the ‘Biswa Shanti’ yagnya begun. In the meantime, elaborate arrrangements such as putting up barricades have been made by the Jajpur Admin to avoid unwanted incidents.
