Kyrgyzstan sex worker’s bid to hurt herself foiled

Bhubaneswar, March 30: In a major twist to the tale of rescued of Kyrgyzstan sex worker, the lady on Tuesday attempted to hurt herself with blades.

According to sources, the sex worker tried to hurt herself by keeping two blades inside her mouth.

However all her efforts went in vein after the Ruchika officials seized the two blades from her possession, the sources said adding that, following the incident, two police officials and one counselor have been deployed to keep a hawk eye on the sex worker.

Benudhar Senapati, an official of Rucika said, “At first she was reactive but after counseling she calmed down. Many persons including officials from State Commission for Women are counseling them. Now, her mental and physical condition is stable.”

Reacting on the development police commissioner YB Khurania said, “We have rescued and handed over her. There is no decision regarding her is pending with us. At the most we only work as a facilitator for any help that is required.”

Meanwhile, the sex worker has talked to the Kyrgyzstan embassy.
